I don't care what anyone else says in Mountain Top If you're looking for food skip it if you're looking for a bar and go ahead and hit it

I wouldn't even give this restaurant one star but I have to in order to give my review. This was the absolute worst dining experience of my life! I came here with my family and sat outside. My soda was flat and when we told the waitress she apologized and said she called someone to come fix it. No-one ever came. We waited approximately 1 hour for our food and 2 items we ordered from the menu came out completely different from what was listed. The waitress was the only server working and she had our table, a baby shower, and some customers at the bar. I will NEVER be going back and I hope this review saves other people from wasting their time and money.

French onion soup had no flavor, chicken was spicy, service was lousy, my never got her appetizer, decided to bring it out after she canceled it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice neighborhood bar. The food choices and presentations are very good. The food was prepared well and tasted great too. The bar area and dining room are well lit and family friendly. There was no shortage of staff in the front of the house and the service at the bar was good however the food took quite a while to come out. I guess good things come to those who wait!?!?! I'd rate it a 4.5 stars if I could.

Some good food, some bland and tasteless, really cool outdoor seating, with big screen tvs but their food is disappointing considering how cool the outdoor area is..

The portions are quite significant, the menu is diverse, they were very much adaptable to my requests and the food is just yum yum YUM!! Absolutely delectable!!

We had to be seated outside and we were out there with just one other table of two and they completely forgot about us. Even the other party agrees. We all got our food about an hour after we ordered it, everything came out except for the pizza.I also asked for hot sauce for 12 slices of pizza, no shock i got about an ounce of wing sauce. Then the owner came out and we complained and he did nothing about it.

First time at Cavanaugh's, and was very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious, especially the French onion soup. Salads were outstanding and definitely more than enough for a meal. Friends had the quesadilla and we're very pleased with them and were even enough to share. The back room is very quaint, with a beautiful stone fireplace. Would definitely recommend Cavanaugh's for excellent pub food.

Nice atmosphere, food is always good but used to be better. The restaurant is very nice, put together well with a warm fireplace when it's cold. Their bar is very nice as well. Although this place is slightly tucked away it is most deffinately worth a visit for a drink or a dinner or both!

Great staff & food as usual.

It was the first time we went into the place but I have heard many good things so I wanted to try. I had a lobster tail special which was 19.99 for what I believe was an 8 oz tail. It came with asparagus and the choice of potato. I do love asparagus but the way it was prepared was not to my liking. Friends we came with also got the ribs which were extremely tender but were not smoked which gave them just a little bit different flavor so keep in mind if you want to try them but all in all I would definitely recommend the place.

This place is a local treat. Excellent food, even better personalities. The pan fried pizza is to die for. Shanay was our waitress. She is the main reason we'll be coming back every time we're in the area!

Great Atmosphere. One too many Notre Dame looking Leprechauns around for this Michigan Fan.. but it was great nonetheless. I really loved the Shamrocks in the parking lot across the street. Nice Touch! I'll definitely go again.
